The end of our second day of traveling found us looking for Northern California RV resorts and we found an incredible little jewel when we found this RV park in Weed, Ca. Now, the name, Trailer Lane RV Park, might fool ya’ a little bit but when you pull into this beautifully shaded little park you’ll know you’re in for quite a pleasant surprise.
Once we arrived at the office area and signed in, Rick came out and led us to our perfectly situated pull-through site and spotted us right on the money. A short time later we were leveled, hooked up, including cable TV and checking our emails on their quick, free WiFi. In just a few moments another guest arrived next to us in a big beauty of a 5’th wheel and started getting set up.
During his setup though, he had a problem with his electrical connection adapter and wound up needing another one. Rick came back out, checked out the situation and disappeared into his garage. Moments later he was back with exactly what our neighbors needed to get hooked up for their stay. Needless to say, we were even more impressed by the care given to ensure their guests truly enjoy their stay.
Another great thing about this awesome place to pull off the road for a spell is location. Just south of Chaparral Dr. is a Pilot Travel Center where you can easily get in and out with your rig and fuel up for the next leg of your journey. If you need a pizza, some good espresso or maybe some fast food, there are all kinds of places to eat between the Pilot Travel Center and Rick’s easily accessed RV Park.
If you did bring your clubs and want to take a break and play some golf, be sure and ask Rick about a discount at the great nine hole course just around the corner from Trailer Lane RV Park. There’s also more golf, boating and fishing in the area… be sure and ask about it when you check in or when you call and make reservations which I highly suggest! Don’t forget to ask for your Good Sam discount.
